Acumine ACASS in Anglo Ashanti

Acumine has deployed the first stage of ACASS at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine (SDGM) of Anglo Ashanti in Western Australia. The extension of ACASS to a larger number of resources is expected to be completed by November 2009.

Rio Tinto performed a succesful Pilot Study of the Acumine Collision Avoidance System at the Brockman and Numaldi Mine. 17 Komatsu 730E and 6 light vehicles were retrofitted with ACASS.

ACASS Succesful Demonstration in Andina

Acumine has succesfully demonstrated the ACASS collision avoidance system at the Codelco mine Andina in Chile. The new Komatsu 930 Haul Trucks, light vehicles and other resources were retrofitted with ACASS and has been operating under extreme temperatures.

Safety and Productivity for Bracalba

Acumine collision avoidance and Fleet monitoring system to be installed in Bracalba Quarry. The system is designed for a small fleet of haul truck, vehicles and other resources. The Acumine ersonnel and light vehicle safety system will also be installed in this site.

System Update in Alcoa

The Safety system installed at Alcoa Willowdale was recently updated with Mesh network capabilities. The mesh network upgrade enables the implementation of Fleet monitoring capabilities without requiring full mine coverage and adds another level of integrity to the safety system. Basic FMS capabilities are already installed and are under evaluation by the mine site.
